Layne - Wylie, TX

Meet Layne! This amazing kid is the INSPIRATION for Scouting For All... and we can't wait to make his wish become a reality!!

Help Us Make Scouting Accessible for All Kids — Starting With Layne!

We are Scouting for ALL , a growing organization working toward becoming a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring every child can fully experience the joy, growth, and adventure of Scouting — regardless of physical, mental, or financial ability.

What began as a Wood Badge ticket item for our founder, Jamie, has grown into something much bigger. The original goal was simple but meaningful: raise funds to provide a Cascade Tandem Hiking Cart for a young Scout in her Cub Scout Pack. But that effort sparked a vision — a future where Scouting is more accessible, more inclusive, and even more FUN for every child who wants to be part of it.

Our inspiration is Layne, a Cub Scout in Pack 5150 in Wylie, TX. Layne has Lama2 Muscular Dystrophy, and to know him is to love him. He is bright, funny, full of heart, and surrounded by a family that gives everything they have to make sure he can live the most inclusive and joy-filled life possible. Layne is a blessing to our pack, and we truly believe he has an Eagle Scout future ahead of him.

The Cascade Tandem Hiking Cart will make it significantly easier for Layne and his family to participate in outdoor adventures — hikes, campouts, pack events, and everything that makes Scouting magical. Because Layne needs a few additional accessories (such as specialized head support), the cost is higher than the basic cart, and that’s why we’re reaching out for help.

Every little bit helps. Truly.

Your support will not only help Layne experience the great outdoors more comfortably — it will also help launch Scouting for ALL’s mission to bring accessibility to more Scouts just like him.

Thank you for helping us take this first important step. Your generosity means the world to Layne, his family, and the entire Pack 5150 community.
